Second Update: we went back this weekend for my boyfriend's appointment that we made on our first initial visit. Originally I wanted to cancel because of me being frustrated but I figured we might as well go. I would like to take the time to say thank you to Ben. He's given me calls asking how my glasses were. And when we came in today, I told him about how my nose pads were hurting a little and he changed them out for me. My boyfriend was able to pick out glasses he liked too! Overall, it was a pleasure talking today, Ben. Thank you for showing care in our visit today.
Update: they called to give me my tracking for my glasses. Ben also apologized for our interaction and for not quality checking my glasses prior to me driving out there. Again, I love the selection here and really loved coming here. I plan to try it again and I hope my experience is better next time. I'm not giving a full 5 stars though because I'm not sure if they were ever going to call me or if this review made them give me a call. But either way I got some answers!
I've been coming here for years. Literal YEARS. And I've always said how much I loved their selection of frames and the people working there. However, I went back after a few years (I moved away) and there are new employees. That's fine. That's normal. But they do not have the same care as the employees before. They didn't even quality check my glasses when they arrived. So I drove an hour to go pick them up just for them to tell me "sorry we have to send it back to the lab". I'm an understanding person so at first I was a little sad but didn't mind. It wasn't until Ben (I think that was his name) came over to tell me they can ship to me and when I asked about how it would be shipped. He clearly was upset with me asking and literally said "they do this all the time". I'm sorry??? I've never had this happen here before so sorry I asked if my glasses were going to arrive at my home safely? On top of all this, they still haven't arrived. I haven't gotten a single call or text about when they will be shipping out my glasses. I'm overall disappointed and this will most likely be my last time coming here.
